Happy Friday!

I'm back from my road trip to California and Nevada! And that's right, no internet and I didn't even use my phone either. Came home this morning and have been catching up with the interwebz for almost the entire day! I am still so behind and have a load of e-mails to get to.

I still have a lot going this weekend and really should do my schoolwork. No slacker no more!

All We Can Do is Keep Breathing

I just got back from my mentor ship downtown for architecture. We presented our plans and progression so far. My group is designing a fire station. It's pretty awesome.

Ahh! One more day until I leave for Spring Break! I am going on a road trip with my family to California and Las Vegas to see family, hang out, and possibly go to Disney Land. It should be fun. I will be bringing my work with me and leave Thursday. Not sure how blogging will work yet but I could do some planned posts!

I'll Buy a Magazine Searching for Your Face

If international magazines weren't so expensive, I would have rushed out to get this magazine before it had time to even cool off from shipping. Then again, how persuasive is a cover with Chloe Sevigney in Miu Miu covered in doodles to just grab the money and go? Sigh. However, I am trying to seriously save for an SLR camera. I have saved for years but something always seemed to come up until before I know it, my piggy bank is empty. As much as I love magazines, I'd rather buy a good book.

About that internet break...I decided that blogging here would be okay for a short period of time on weekdays because it is healthy to let out some feelings and to record events of the day.

That being said, today was a fresh start to the new quarter and it is going to be a tough one, I can tell. I have been working on english all day and will move on to spanish and math later. Oh gosh, I have not been paying enough attention to math and in a long time, I am confused! Focus Christina, focus!

Help, I Have Done It Again

Today, I went to the gym and shopped for a long while. I got a bow ring and a leopard jacket which I will show on my blog soon! That took about ten minutes while the other hours I spent proved to be quite unsuccessful. Could not find the books I wanted, office supplies, the Essie nail polish I wanted. Besides, a shopping trip never feels successful to me if I did not buy a dress/skirt or shoes. Sigh.

I will take a fast on internet by the way. Whenever I feel something has impacted me negatively, I distance myself away from it. It will no doubt be difficult. The internet is such a great way for escape and connection with those who enjoy the same passions as I do. But it came to a point where it distracted my own life too much and made me slack on my schoolwork. I will only use it on weekdays for school and e-mail. As for the weekend, I will spend a max of an hour every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So see you guys this weekend!

Monday, Monday

I have not yet completely delved into the blogging world hence the lack of updates. It's difficult to do personal posts so I will resort to photos and other things that provide to be an inspiration to me. Today, I present to you a random collection of photos. 3: All This Talking Pulls My Teeth

I have been so busy these past few weeks. And now there is one more week until finals are over and one more after that until spring break! Tonight, I am so excited because I am in bed at 12am tonight. It is truly a miracle!

This is me being lazy, too much of everything going on my life means truly effortless dressing. Like I've mentioned before, cardigans are my go to item. Hence the fact I've worn a cardigan every single day of the week (all different of course!). These jeans are my favorite, I acquired them just before Paris last summer so it brings back fantastic memories. They are dyed to look like the sky and are heavily tattered. I was so excited to finally find a pair like them!

A Special Day

I love the mood more-so the individual pieces. Though of course, I am lusting over the flower-like miniskirt and delicate shawl in the last photo. If you know of a lipstick this color, please share the name and brand. It's exactly what I need.
